MATERIALS DONATION – “PRÊT, PARTEZ, EMBALLLEZ!” WORKSHOPS – FRAC GRAND LARGE, DUNKERQUE
The RAJA Collection is delighted to support the art packaging discovery workshops organized by the FRAC Grand Large by donating the materials needed to run them (rolls of bubble wrap, foam sheets, etc.).
On the WEFRAC! weekend (weekend des fonds régionaux d’art contemporain) held on November 16 and 17, 2024, the FRAC organized a first workshop, open to all, to introduce participants to the art of tamping (a packaging technique), alongside collections registrar Pomme Harbonnier.
This event ties in with the FRAC Grand Large’s major collection inventory project, which is scheduled to start in the coming weeks. Another workshop will be held in February 2025. The RAJA Collection is delighted to support this initiative to share the life and management of a collection with the public. The Collection has already supported the FRAC in the past, notably during the Chaleur Humaine Triennale or the “La Nef des Fous” exhibition.
