Danièle Marcovici recognised among the “100 Women of Culture 2024” and jury member for this 6th edition

RAJA Group’s CEO has also received the insignia of Commander in the Order of Arts and Letters.

Danièle Marcovici, CEO of the RAJA Group, has been recognised as one of the “100 Women of Culture 2024” by the French Association Femmes de Culture. The ceremony took place on October 14 in Paris, in the presence of France’s Minister of Culture, Rachida Dati. Danièle Marcovici received the award in the “Contemporary Art” category, recognizing her long-standing support for artistic creation

In addition, Danièle Marcovici has been recognised as Commander in the Order of Arts and Letters. This distinction is awarded by the Ministry of Culture to individuals who have made outstandings efforts to create or promote works that enrich France’s cultural heritage. According to the National Council of the Order of Arts and Letters, this honor “testifies to the exemplary career Danièle Marcovici has devoted to advancing French artistic creation over many years and her tireless commitment to bringing culture to life for our fellow citizens.”

In 2010, Danièle Marcovici and her partner Tristan Fourtine created the Villa Datris Foundation, a foundation that supports contemporary sculpture. The Villa Datris Foundation organises annual thematic exhibitions at Villa Datris in L’Isle-sur-la-Sorgue (Vaucluse) and at Espace Monte-Cristo in Paris’s 20th arrondissement, all of which are free to the public.

A contemporary art enthusiast, Danièle Marcovici has also built a unique corporate collection, the RAJA Contemporary Art Collection, tied to the company’s core business. Displayed at the group’s French headquarters and its European subsidiaries, the collection features over 200 works by 120 established and emerging artists.
