Un carton sous le soleil

Laurent Baude is a nomadic artist who is fuelled by his many sources of inspiration. In 1980, his interest in colours and shapes began to take form. He started creating sculptures made of scraps of wood and metal, yielding strange yet harmonious graphic curves that call matters of space into question. During that same period, the artist was also working on nudes which enabled him, as he puts it, to “understand sculpture from the inside”.
